With foreknown we have already provided, as one of the first features, the management of offers, orders and invoices. The design of the templates used for these documents was based on MS Word files. However, it quickly became apparent that our customers found it difficult to implement the individual customizations using MS Word, and compromises had to be made. This was reason enough for us to completely revise the design of these documents. The result is impressive and in this article you can read what has changed.

The major release 2.3 of foreknown provides significant improvements around design and maintenance of offers, orders and invoices. The templates have been converted to an HTML/CSS based solution. Text modules with placeholders can now be used flexibly in introductory and closing texts and between positions in all document types.

The minor release 2.1.4 provides a bug fix as well as many explanation videos (currently only in German) for basic foreknown features.

The product release 2.1 provides the possibility to create offer and order items without quantity specification.
