In foreknown, a lot of information about employees is managed that is important for team management, human resources and payroll accounting. It is therefore necessary to be able to easily query all key KPIs relating to working hours, vacation, sick days, other absences and on-call duty for defined periods of time.
With the 2.15 release, foreknown offers an Excel export on a template basis in the employee administration, which presents many useful KPIs in tabular form with totals for selected periods and the current year.
New Template Type "Employee Report"
Every company has its own requirements for employee reports. For this purpose, we have created a new template type “Employee Report” based on Excel, which can be used to extract a variety of KPIs relating to the topics
- Working Time / Activity Bookings
- Vacation
- Sick Leave
- Other Absences
- On-call Duty
into individual excel-based reports. A basic template is already provided with this new template type and further topic-related templates can be downloaded and customized using the download links at the bottom of this article.

Create Employee Report
The administration of employees offers the option of creating individual employee reports based on filtered or all employees.
A pop-up dialog allows you to select the desired template that you have previously set up and also define a time period. The report is then generated as an Excel file and can be downloaded.
Here is an example of what such an export could look like:
Download: The following Excel files can be used as the basis for further individual employee reports. Simply create new templates of the type “Employee Template” and upload the desired Excel file via “Upload edited Template”.
